The official summer months have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean the days of wearing SPF are over. SPF isn’t just for beach days — it’s for every day. Whether your weekends include yard work, cheering on your favorite team from the bleachers, or tailgating all day in a parking lot, your skin needs — and deserves — protection.
Here are the sun care products we’re currently obsessed with:
SPF For Your Face:
My everyday pick — it’s tinted just enough to smooth out my skin tone.
The finish is glowy (not greasy), so I often skip foundation altogether.
Hydrates but feels light and fresh — even in summer heat.
REVISION TruPhysical Clear SPF 50
A true multitasker: hydrating, protecting, brightening, and tackling fine lines all at once.
Honestly feels like it’s improving my skin texture the more I use it.
Clear formula = no tint, no chalky white cast.
PS: They do make a great tinted version with the same multitasking benefits (REVISION Intellishade TruPhysical SPF 45), but I reach for the ALASTIN HydraTint as my daily go-to because ALASTIN feels a bit lighter on my skin. I use the REVISION Intellishade option during winter months when I need a heavier moisturizer.

Oil-free, sinks in quickly, and—major win—doesn’t sting or drip into eyes.
It took some convincing to get him into a daily sunscreen, but this one solved the “burning eyes battle.”

Has a hint of mint but no weird chemical taste (a win in SPF lip land).
